An app to tackle myopia
With three times more electronic devices than there are humans in Singapore, identifying a solution to the problem was necessary for plano founder and chief executive Dr. Mo Dirani.
Plano also has potential to be a myopia screening tool and ensures that information and data collected are secure. Initially released in Singapore at the end of 2017, since then, more than 10,000 people have downloaded the app. This builds onto the vision of seeing the app being rolled alongside the national eye screening programme in Singapore.
